What is VentureShield®?
VentureShield® is the toughest chip protection film on the market. Combining excellent elastic properties and optical clarity with a high shear and tack adhesive, VentureShield® is twice as stone resistant as the leading competitor.

Where can VentureShield® be fitted?
If you are purchasing a new vehicle, the ideal time is after pick up from dealership. We are fully mobile and can also come to your home where we can operate from your garage if there is enough room to do so, alternatively we have a facility where installations can take place.

Why do I need it?
Paints used today are less resistant to stone chips, and wrapping the vulnerable areas of your vehicle in VentureShield® Paint Protection Film will protect its appearance and preserve the value of your vehicle.

Which areas of my car or bike does it cover?
VentureShield® kits differ from vehicle to vehicle and cover the areas of your vehicle vulnerable to damage from stone chips, typically the bumper, wing ends, front lights and the front end of the bonnet on a car, and sections of the front fairing, headlight, tank and tip of front mudguard for a bike. Some cars also benefit from an Options Kit which covers items such as the side sills and edges of wheel arches.

What is the Lifetime Warranty?
VentureShield® is guaranteed by Venture Tape Corp against cracking, peeling, bubbling or turning yellow, for as long as the original purchaser retains ownership of the vehicle. The warranty is valid as long as the installation is performed by an authorised installer/in accordance with manufacturer's recommended installation procedures.

How is it fitted?
Car kits are always installed by our approved installers due to the size and complexity of the sections of material.

Will it diminish the appearance of my vehicle?
VentureShield® will protect your vehicle for years, and will remain virtually invisible.

Why is VentureShield Paint Protection Film needed now? My Dad never needed it on his car.
Paints are different now than 20 years ago, and they are applied differently. Many of the environmentally unfriendly ingredients, such as lead, have been removed. Unfortunately, these ingredients are also what made paint more durable. Also, paints are applied much thinner now than in years past, being applied by computers. While this allows for greater initial quality, the thinner paint is far less durable
Chrome-plated metal parts have disappeared. Where bright trim IS used, it is virtually always electro-plated plastic, which is vulnerable to stone chip damage.
Headlights, formerly made of heavy, durable glass, are almost universally made of lightweight, super-clear plastic. While they are highly impact resistant, they are vulnerable to rock dings, scratches and scuffs from everyday driving

Can VentureShield® be washed and waxed?
Yes, you may wash and wax your vehicle as if VentureShield® were not present.

Will my vehicle fade under the sun?
Yes, VentureShield® film is UV stable, but will allow UV rays to penetrate. This feature eliminates the ‘two shades’ of paint problem resulting from traditional car ‘bras’.

If I sell my vehicle, can VentureShield® be removed?
Yes, VentureShield® uses a patented acrylic adhesive which can be safely removed without residue, leaving your vehicle looking as great as the day you bought it!.

What if my car or bike is newly painted?
We recommend allowing paintwork to harden prior to the installation for approximately 4-6 weeks for large areas of paintwork, and 1 week for stone chip repairs.
